The guideline "PROFINET Cabling and Interconnection Technology Guideline"
The PROFIBUS User Organization, among other things, has compiled the guideline
"PROFINET Cabling and Interconnection Technology" that serves as input for the IEC 61918
and the IEC 61784, among other things, and also refers to it.
The technical benchmarks for cables and the connection technology (electrical and optical)
for PROFINET networks are described. These are intended to help new manufacturers with
making products that are PROFINET compliant.
