Adjuster lock nut 19 N•m (168 lbf•in)
Stopper straps nuts
(on strap adjuster)
21 N•m(15lbf•ft)
Stopper strap(s) nuts
11 N•m(97lbf•in)
REAR SPRING REMOVAL
Lift rear of vehicle and support it off the ground.
Decrease spring preload by turning cams accord-
ingly.

Unbolt rear arm top axle from chassis.

Remove spring supports.
WARNING
Supports are spring loaded.

TYPICAL — REMOVE SPRING SUPPORTS
Loosen set screw from locking rings.
Remove the following on both sides:
– locking ring
– top idler wheel
– spring.

REAR SPRING INSTALLATION
