1D-68 Engine Mechanical:
• Connect the oil pressure switch lead wire as shown.
Tightening torque
Oil Pressure switch lead wire mounting bolt (a):
1.5 N·m (0.15 kgf-m, 1.1 lb-ft)
Crankcase Breather Cover
• Apply SUZUKI BOND to the mating surface of the
breather cover.
NOTE
• Make surfaces free from moisture, oil, dust
and other foreign materials.
• Spread the sealant on surfaces thinly to
form an even layer, and assemble the
breather cover within a few minutes.
• Apply to distorted surfaces as it forms a
comparatively thick film.
: Sealant 99000–31110 (SUZUKI BOND
No.1215 or equivalent)
• Tighten the breather cover bolts.
Gear Position Switch
• Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE to the O-ring.
CAUTION
!
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
NOTE
Align the gear position switch pin “A” with
the gearshift cam hole “B”.
: Grease 99000–25010 (SUZUKI SUPER
GREASE A or equivalent)
• Apply THREAD LOCK to the gear position switch
bolts and tighten them to the specified torque.
: Thread lock cement 99000–32110
(THREAD LOCK CEMENT SUPER 1322 or
equivalent)
Tightening torque
Gear position switch mounting bolt (a): 6.5 N·m (
0.65 kgf-m, 4.7 lb-ft)
“a”: 20° ± 10°
