4E-19 ABS:
4 1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Disconnect the ABS control unit coupler. Refer to “ABS
Control Unit Coupler Disconnect and Connect (Page 4E-
70)”.
3) Turn the ignition switch ON with the ABS control unit
coupler disconnected, measure the voltage between
“16” (O/Y) and “24” (B/W) at the coupler.

(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)

Normal value (“16” – “24”)
Battery voltage (12.0 V and more)
ABS control unit coupler (Harness end)
Is the voltage between “16” and “24” normal?
Go to Step 5. Inspect the wire
harness. (Faulty ignition
or ground wire)
5 1) Turn the ignition switch ON with the ABS control unit
coupler disconnected, measure the voltage between
“21” (Brown) and “24” (B/W) at the coupler.

7.0 V and more
