6 1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Check for continuity between “24” (B/W) at the coupler
and body ground, also “25” (B/W) at the coupler and
body ground.
Special tool
(A): 09900–25008 (Multi-circuit tester set)
Tester knob indication
Continuity ( )
ABS control unit coupler (Harness end)
Are there continuity between “24”, “25” and body ground?
Replace the ABS
control unit/HU.
Inspect the wire
harness. (Faulty ground
wire)
7 (The ABS indicator light does not go off)
1) Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2) Remove the left frame cover. Refer to “Exterior Parts
Removal and Installation in Section 9D (Page 9D-6)”.
3) Remove the fuse box mounting bolt. Refer to “ABS
Control Unit Coupler Disconnect and Connect (Page 4E-
70)”.
4) Open the fuse box and inspect the ignition fuse (1).
CAUTION
!
If a fuse is blown, find the cause of the problem
and correct it before replacing the fuse.
