Kickstand Assembly
Removal and Installation
See Figures 9-12 and 9-13.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-5.)
2. Retract the kickstand and allow the mower to rest on
the traction roller or transport wheels.

3. Remove screw (6), jam nut (7), and lock washer (8).
4. Disengage spring (1).
5. Remove screw (2), two flat washers (3), spacer (4),
and lock nut (5).

6. Remove screw (10), two flat washers (11), spacer
(12), and lock nut (13).
7. Remove kickstand assembly (9).
Installation Notes
• Install kickstand assembly by reversing the order of
removal.
• Tighten screw and nut (10 and 13) during installation
just enough to enable kickstand to spring up with
minimal assistance.
