Key Switch
Removal and Installation
See Figures 4-67 through 4-70.
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Disconnect the negative (–) battery cable at the
battery.

3. Remove right cover screws (1).

4. Remove left cover screws (2) and pull down cover
(3).

5. Remove key switch cover (4).

6. Remove retaining nut (5) from the key switch.
7. Remove key switch from the bottom of the steering
console.
Installation Note
Install the key switch by reversing the order of removal.
