Front Axle U-Joint
Removal and Installation

1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on

2. Remove park brake. (See “Park Brake” on
page 9-11.)
3. Remove front axle motor (2). (See “Front Axle Motor”
on page 5-58.)
4. Disconnect front axle U-joint (1) from front axle (3).
5. Remove front axle U-joint (1).
Installation Notes
• Install the drive shaft by reversing the order of
removal.
• Adjust park brake. (See “Park Brake Adjustment” on
page 9-4.)
