2.2 Replace Defective CCM-20
Note: It is recommended to make a software back-up from the LDU-20. This will
make sure that the correct configuration is loaded. For more data, speak
to or send a message to Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd.
1) Stop the engine.
2) Disconnect the power supply to the defective CCM-20 on the related cylinder.
3) Remove the defective CCM-20.
4) Install the new CCM-20.
5) Connect the power supply to the new CCM-20.
6) After a reboot of the new CCM-20, the ECS activates a software download.
Note: You can monitor the software download on the LDU-20 at the local
control panel.
7) Start the engine. The engine does an air run to find the crank angle for the new
CCM-20.
Note: After the air run, the engine will do a standard start.
2.3 Replace Defective MCM−11
Note: It is recommended to make a software back-up from the LDU−20. This will
make sure that the correct configuration is loaded. For more data, speak
to or send a message to Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd.
1) Stop the engine.
2) Disconnect the power supply to the MCM−11.
3) Remove the defective MCM−11.
4) Install the new MCM−11.
5) Connect the power supply to the new MCM−11.
6) After a reboot of the new MCM−11, the ECS activates a software download.
Note: You can monitor the software download on the LDU−20 at the local
control panel.
7) Start the engine at the RCS. The engine will do a standard start.
2.4 Replace Defective IOM-10
Note: It is recommended to make a software back-up from the LDU-20. This will
make sure that the correct configuration is loaded. For more data, speak
to or send a message to Winterthur Gas & Diesel Ltd.
1) Stop the engine.
2) Disconnect the power supply to the IOM-10.
3) Remove the defective IOM-10.
4) Install the new IOM-10.
5) Connect the power supply to the new IOM-10.
6) After a reboot of the new IOM-10, the ECS activates a software download.
Note: You can monitor the software download on the LDU−20 at the local
control panel.
7) Start the engine at the RCS. The engine will do a standard start.
