Customizing a Local Contact File
You can add contacts one by one on the IP phone directly. You can also add multiple contacts at
a time and/or share contacts between IP phones using the local contact template file. After
setup, place the template file to the provisioning server and specify the access URL of the
template file in the configuration files. The existing local contacts on the IP phones will be
overridden by the downloaded local contacts.
You can ask the distributor or Yealink FAE for local contact template. You can also obtain the
local contact template online:
http://support.yealink.com/documentFront/forwardToDocumentFrontDisplayPage. For more
information on obtaining the local contact file, refer to Obtaining Configuration Files and
Resource Files on page 114.
