1.2. Intended use
The Aeon8800A is a pneumatic and electric controlled continuous airflow Anaesthetic Workstation
theoretically. Equipped with a gas path that can transport oxygen, nitrous oxide, air, inhaled
anaesthetics, and an electrical control system, the 8800A can carry out respiratory control and
monitor patients' respiratory parameters. Aeon8800A Anaesthetic Workstation includes some
ventilation functions. The ventilator is controlled by a microprocessor and equipped with parameter
monitoring, waveform monitoring, capacity mode, and other optional functions. The 8800A can
provide mechanical ventilation for the patient during operation and display the monitoring
parameter simultaneously.
The system can provide fresh gas, electronic peep, and pressure limit for the patient. Medical gas,
such as oxygen, air, and nitrous oxide, can be supplied to the system through a gas supply system
or external gas cylinders. The anaesthetics can be supplied to the system through the Vaporizer
installed on the Anaesthetic Workstation.
1.3. Indications
The product is used by medical departments for inhalation anaesthesia of patients. It is suitable for
neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
