2.4. Vaporizer-VP300/VP500 (optional)
The vaporizer continuously sends anaesthetic gas of accurate concentration to the breathing
system. It is directly connected with the flowmeter and the outlet of mixed gas. The anaesthetic
gas mixture of accurate concentration can be obtained by setting the scale of the vaporizer control
turning disk. The vaporizer is not for patients with spontaneous breathing because it will cause
strong internal resistance. The vaporizer is temperature, flow and pressure compensated.
Each vaporizer can only use the anaesthetic gas marked on its label.

WARNING: The medical gas used in the vaporizer must be dry. Any improper use will
cause danger to patients.
WARNING: The vaporizer must be placed upright. Switch to “OFF” when it is not in
use.
NOTE: The vaporizer used on the machine complies with ISO 80601-2-13-2018.
