4.Pre-operative preparation

4.2.1. Pre-use test
The pre-use test should be performed under the following circumstances:
Before the first use.
Before being used by each patient.
After repairing or maintenance.
4.2.1.1. System check
WARNING: Make sure that the breathing system is in good connection and with no
damage.
1. Make sure the equipment remains intact.
2. Make sure that all components are properly connected.
3. Make sure that the breathing system is properly connected, remains intact, and the breathing
system contains sufficient sodium lime.
4. Make sure the vaporizer is locked in place and is loaded with enough anaesthetic.
5. Make sure the connection and pressure of the pipeline gas supply system are correct.
6. Make sure that the required emergency equipment is available and in good status.
7. Make sure that the equipment for airway maintenance, endotracheal intubation, and artificial
ventilation is available and in good status.
8. Make sure that applicable anaesthetic and emergency medicine are available.
9. Make sure that the casters are not loose and locked and will not move.
10. Make sure the power cord is connected to the power socket. After the AC power is connected,
the power indicator is on. If the power indicator is not on, it means that the system has no
power supply. Switch to another socket, close the power circuit breaker or replace the
connecting power cord.
4.2.1.2. Power Failure Alarm Test
1. Turn on the power switch, the display will light up, and enter the STANDBY interface after the
self-test.
2. After the machine runs for 5 minutes, unplug the power cord.
3. Make sure that power failure alarm occurs (with alarm ring tone, or the display screen
showing “network power failure!” information).
4. Reconnect the power cord.
5. Make sure the alarm has been cleared.
