It is used to absorb CO

patient having
exhaled.
When activated, this mode permits continued
ventilation and rebreathing of exhaled gases
without any gas passing through the absorber.
It is located on the respiratory system to
measure the airway pressure of the respiratory
system.
It guarantees the single the direction of gas
flow in breathing system.
The bellows is made of neoprene, more
attention should be given when use.
NOTE: The graduation marks of bellows
dome are from 300 to 1500. These marks are
for qualitative purposes only. Tidal volume (V

)
should be read exclusively from the display of
the user interface.
Description of inspiratory/expiratory valve:
The performance of the inspiratory/ expiratory one-way valve can be assessed by inspecting the
action of the diaphragms in the inspiratory/ expiratory valve:
In the inspiratory phase, the inspiratory diaphragm moves, and the expiratory valve is still.
Conversely, in the expiratory phase, the expiratory diaphragm moves, and the inspiratory valve
diaphragm is still.
Meet above conditions mean that the inspiratory/ expiratory one-way valve is functional.
