Figure 63: Server connection status
Figure 63 reports the IP address and the UDP port the TC-430™ is trying to contact Verba 2014™ at on both
wireless and 2G/3G interface, via external router (IP address and UDP ports are configured in Verba 2014™
and transferred to TC-430™ within the VDB file exported by Verba 2014™ and cannot be locally
configured/modified at TC-430™).
Also Figure 63 reports the URL the TC-430™ is trying to contact Aesys® cloud (HAL™) at.
A label reports whether the TC-430™ is currently connected to the server and or to the cloud or not.
Notice
From a purely technical point of view, TC-430™, depending on its configuration, can be simultaneously
connected to both Verba 2014™ and HAL™, but however this scenario is not practically useful and
could lead to unpredictable circumstances.
If the control unit is connected to the cloud then also the name of the cloud customer the device is paired
with (if known) is reported in the presented screen.
If TC-430™ is connected to Verba 2014™ and/or to HAL™ then also an icon is shown in the system
status bar.
When dealing with HAL™, the icon shown in the system status bar can change accordingly with the
connection status, as summarized in Table 3.
No connection: TC-430™ cannot reach the Internet; please double-
check the URL configured for the cloud connection, the control unit
network interface configuration and/or the external router
configuration.
TC-430™ reaches the Internet but fails in passing HAL™
authentication; problems are likely to be cloud-side: please contact
Aesys® support for further assistance.
TC-430™ is connected to HAL™ but the control unit serial number
and/or the bus code does not match what configured on the cloud;
the cloud pairing procedure has to be performed and/or repeated to
fix the problems.
Successfully connected to HAL™.
