3.41. Install the Inspection Step
The inspection step is used on conveyors with a top mount gas engine or electric motor.
1. Position the inspection step adjacent to the portion of the axle frame with anti-slip tape (and below the gas
engine or electric motor) as shown in Figure 88.
2. Attach 3/4" x 3" u-bolts (2) from the underside of the axle frame and through the inspection step (1) with
3/4" nylock nuts (3) and 3/4" flat washers (4) (see Figure 88).
