Syntax path-probing

Description This command enables the context to configure path probing paramters.

Description This command configures the number of minutes to wait before repeating probing (pinging) a
discovered path.
Default 1
Parameters minutes — Specifies the number of minutes to probe all active ECMP paths for each LSP
Values 1 — 60

Description This command configures the path probing maximum number of failures.
Default 3
Parameters retry-count — Specifies the maximum number of consecutive timeouts allowed before failing a path
probe (ping).
Values 1 — 255

Syntax timeout timeout

Context config>test-oam>ldp-treetrace>path-probing
Description This command is used to override the default timeout value and is the amount of time that the router
will wait for a message reply after sending the message request. Upon the expiration of message
timeout, the requesting router assumes that the message response will not be received. Any response
received after the request times out will be silently discarded.
