Setting the Dust Filter Maintenance interval in the
BIOS
You can setup the dust filter maintenance reminder in the BIOS. This setting enables or disables BIOS messages for maintaining the
optional dust filter that is installed in your computer. Based on the interval that is set, the BIOS generates a preboot reminder to clean
or replace the dust filter. To set dust filter maintenance in the BIOS:
1. Turn on the computer and press F2 to enter the BIOS Setup menu.
2. Go to Integrated Devices > Dust Filter Maintenance.
NOTE: By default, the value is Disabled.
3. Select the interval from the available options 15 days, 30 days, 60 days, 90 days, 120 days, 150 days, and 180 days.
NOTE: The date count starts from the day the setting is changed from disabled to any of internals. If you change the interval
from one option to another option, the start date remains unchanged.
To reset the maintenance interval for the dust filter, you need to first select Disabled and then save the settings. After that, you can
choose the interval from the available options again.
