6.4.18 Adjusting the frame ballasting
The hydraulically actuated frame ballasting

is
supported on the lower links and transfers the weight
from the tractor to the implement frame. As a result,
there is an additional load on the precision airplanter
and the placement depth can be maintained even
under difficult operating conditions.
For maximum effect of the frame ballasting, the
implement must be coupled to the highest top link
point on the tractor side.
