To clean the outer surfaces of the instrument:
1 Make sure that no slides are processing.
2 Spray the cloth with the cleaner.
3 Wipe the surfaces of the instrument clean.
16.7 Printer Maintenance
The printer requires the following periodic maintenance:
• Replacement of the toner cartridge
• Occasional cleaning
Refer to the manual that came with the printer for periodic maintenance procedures.
CAUTION
Do not clean the instrument while it is processing slides.

CONNECTOR INDICATES POTENTIAL SHOCK HAZARD.
ENSURE THAT THE SYSTEM IS CONNECTED TO A POWER
RECEPTACLE THAT PROVIDES VOLTAGE AND CURRENT
WITHIN THE SPECIFIED RATING FOR THE SYSTEM. USE OF
AN INCOMPATIBLE POWER RECEPTACLE MAY PRODUCE
ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND FIRE HAZARDS.
WARNING
SHOCK AND FIRE POTENTIAL WHEN IMPROPERLY
GROUNDED. NEVER USE A TWO-PRONG PLUG ADAPTER TO
CONNECT PRIMARY POWER TO THE SYSTEM. USE OF A
TWO-PRONG ADAPTER DISCONNECTS THE UTILITY
GROUND, CREATING A POTENTIAL SHOCK HAZARD.
ALWAYS CONNECT THE SYSTEM POWER CORD DIRECTLY
TO AN APPROPRIATE RECEPTACLE WITH A FUNCTIONAL
GROUND.
