4. For slippery threads put a spool net over the spool
as an additional measure.
5. Guide the thread directly to the rear thread guide
and continue threading. [}see page34]
3.14 Bobbin Thread
For general sewing, we recommend using the same
thread for the upper thread and the lower thread.
Consult the Creative Consultant for thread recommen-
dations with various applications and fabrics.
Bobbin Winding
The direction in which the bobbin thread should be
spooled is indicated on the machine with broken lines
and numbered accordingly.
1. Place an empty bobbin on the bobbin winder so
that the silver sensor surface is facing downward.
2. Place the spool on the right vertical spool pin.
3. Pull the thread upward and insert it from back to
front in the two thread guide eyelets directly
above.
4. Guide the thread through the thread eyelet from
right to left.
5. Guide the thread around the bobbin winder pre-
tension in the direction of the arrow.
