9. Pull the thread through under the spring and under
the two thread guides.
10. When inserting the bobbin case, hold the bobbin
case so that the wire of the thread guide points
upward.
11. Insert the bobbin case. Press the left side of the
bobbin case until the bobbin case engages.
12. Pull the thread over the thread cutter and cut.
13. Close the bobbin cover.
3.15 Presser Foot
Raising/Lowering the Presser Foot
The presser foot is automatically lowered at the start of
sewing.

Press the Presser Foot Up/Down
button.
ð Depending on the starting position, the presser
foot is either raised or lowered to the hover
position.
TIP
If the presser foot is raised, you can also lower the
presser foot using the Knee Lifter.
Changing the Presser Foot
1. Raise the needle.
2. Raise the presser foot.
3. Lock screen and sewing functions.
4. Press the clamping lever up and pull the presser
foot downward to the side.

5. Guide the new presser foot into the holder from
below and press the clamping lever down.
6. Unlock sewing functions and screen.
7. Tap the Presser Foot
icon and select in the
Presser Foot Overview the attached presser foot.
