11. Guide the thread behind the two thread guides in
the needle area.
NOTICE
Damage to the Automatic Needle Threader or the
Needle
Thin needles can break when using the automatic
needle threader.
The threading hook of the automatic needle threader
can be damaged.
►
Only use the automatic needle threader with
needles of size 70 and above.
►
Always thread size 60 needles by hand.
12. Guide the thread from back to front around the
thread cutter and trim the thread.
13. Unlock sewing functions and screen.
14. Press the Automatic Needle Threader
button.
ð The thread is threaded into the needle.
Notes on the Automatic Needle Threader
n The Automatic Needle Threader is only suitable for
threading a single needle. Always thread twin
needles and triple needles by hand.
n The Automatic Needle Threader is suitable for
needles of size 70 and above. Thread thinner
needles by hand.
n The Automatic Needle Threader is not compatible
with the following presser feet. If you are using one
of these presser feet, thread the needle by hand.

Threading the Twin Needle
To thread a twin needle, thread both threads one after
the other according to the instructions for the single
needle. Start with the left needle. [}see page34]
Note the following differences:
Prerequisite:
n A foam pad is attached to each of the vertical spool
pins.
1. Place the spool for the right needle on the center
spool pin and the spool for the left needle on the
left spool pin.
2. Guide both upper threads up to the thread tension
disc in the same way as threading the single
needle.
3. At the thread tension disc, guide the thread for the
left needle down the left and the thread for the
right needle down the right of the thread tension
disc.
4. Guide the threads up to the needle in the same
way as threading the single needle.
5. Thread both needles by hand.
