7 Attachment of Thread release lever
1. Set the thread release lever 2 and the spring to the shaft 1 of the
base holder assy., and then attach the retaining ring CS4.
*Key point
• Check that the hook of the spring is the upper side, when set it
as shown in the right figure.
Apply EPNOC AP (N) 0 to the shaft of the base
holder assy.

8 Attachment of Presser bar
1. Insert the base holder assy., the presser bar clamp 2, the spring 3, and the
base holder assy. from the bottom of the presser bar 1, and then tighten
the screw 1 temporarily.
*Key point
• Fully tighten the screw 1 after performing "4-14 Adjustment :
Presser bar height and parallelism".
Apply FBK OIL RO 100 to the tip of the presser
bar.
Apply liberally
