22. Unfold the stairs at the ODS flare end of the Catwalk (Figure 4-12). The Catwalk is now ready for
operation.

Rig Down
To rig down the Catwalk, follow these steps:
1. Maintain power to the Catwalk.
2. Start the hydraulic pump motor.
3. Ensure carrier is fully retracted into the Catwalk.
4. Press simultaneously the MOTOR START and RESET buttons and use the carrier LOWER lever to
spool out five to six feet of slack of main winch cable. This is approximately one full revolution of winch
drum and is necessary for the ramp to flip safely over.
5. Flip up and secure the Catwalk stairs for transport.
6. Raise the pipe racks by extending the hydraulic legs.
