PC3000 with 26" Deck (PC3000-26) User’s Manual
5-2 Document ID 13-003 v 2.0
The following six joysticks operate the carrier-lift winch, indexers, kickers, pipe racks, and skate winch:
Lever 1 – Carrier Lift: UP/DOWN
Lever 2 – ODS Indexer: OUTER RAISE/INNER RAISE
Lever 3 – ODS Kicker
Lever 4 – DS Kicker or Ramp End Pipe Rack UP/DOWN
Lever 5 – DS Indexer: OUTER RAISE/INNER RAISE or Middle Pipe Rack UP/DOWN
Lever 6 – Skate: FWD/BACK or Flare End Pipe Rack UP/DOWN
The wireless terminal has five toggle switches above the six joysticks. The inner two toggle switches on the
upper left are used to actuate the safety pins.
The upper left toggle switch is used to enable the ODS or DS pipe racks. Push up to enable the ODS pipe
racks. Then, while holding the spring-loaded toggle switch, actuate the lever for the desired pipe rack. Pull
down on the toggle switch for the DS Pipe Racks, hold the spring-loaded toggle switch, and actuate the
lever for the desired pipe rack.
The MOTOR START switch starts the pump motor. You can also push the toggle switch up to switch
modes to slow speed. This mode reduces to 50% the speed of the carrier-lift winch and skate winch.
The E-STOP button turns OFF the hydraulic pump electric motor and disables the wireless terminal. To
stop Catwalk operation, push down on the E-STOP button. The Status LED will then flash seven times. To
resume operation, turn the E-STOP button clockwise while allowing it to rise slightly, and press the
Terminal START/RESET button.
Control Console
Once power is supplied to the control console and the wireless terminal is turned ON and enabled (see
“Wireless Terminal,” page 5-1), the Catwalk may be operated from control console or wireless terminal.
NOTE
The locator pins on the wireless terminal
are referred to as safety pins in Canrig
documentation and Canrig Parts Lists.
NOTE
If the wireless terminal is not operational, the error
message “Wireless Radio E-STOP Pressed” or
“Radio Failure” is displayed, and the unit must be
switched in Control Console mode.
