Kickers
Three kickers (Figure 3-6) on each side of the carrier are actuated by hydraulic cylinders. The kickers eject
tubulars out of the center carrier groove to either DS or ODS.
All kickers on one side operate simultaneously by the use of one lever. To operate the kickers, push the
appropriate lever on the control console or wireless terminal.
The kickers do not work when the carrier is elevated out of the Catwalk or while the skate is in operation.

Skate
The skate (Figure 3-7, page 3-8) runs the length of the carrier and is powered by a hydraulic winch and
cable. The skate is operated from the control console or the wireless terminal.
Caution
Before operating a kicker, ensure the
skate is not blocking any kicker.
