Troubleshooting Lower Carrier from Overshoot
1. Open the control console (mounted on the HPU tank) (Figure 5-9, page 5-15) and move the
Hyd. Motor AUTO/HAND switch to the HAND position to start the pump.
2. The HMI screen will display Stopped – Carrier Overshoot.
3. On the wireless terminal or control console, press and hold the RESET button. The HMI screen will
display OK – No Errors. Continue holding the RESET button and use the F1 and F2 keys to scroll to
the message Press F6 To Set Mouse Position. Press F6. The screen will display Set Pos Press F6
Cancel Press F5 (Figure 5-6, page 5-10).
4. Switch to Encoder Override mode by simultaneously pressing and holding the RESET button and
MOTOR START buttons on the wireless terminal (Figure 5-1, page 5-1) or the control console
(Figure 5-9, page 5-15) in conjunction with the Carrier UP/DOWN lever (Figure 5-10, page 5-15) on
the control bank.
Caution
• These procedures should only be performed by
properly trained and qualified personnel.
• For the following step, ensure no one is in a loca-
tion where they could be injured if the carrier
moves.
Caution
If the carrier moves, shut down the pump
and call Canrig Field Service.
