Procedure
Step 1
In Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, choose Device > Device Settings > Phone
Services.
Step 2
Click Add New.
Step 3
In the Service Name field, enter a name that matches the package name from the AndroidManifest file that
you extracted from the APK.
Step 4
In the Service Category drop-down list box, choose Android APK.
Step 5
Other fields in this window are optional: you may enter information that you see in the AndroidManifest file.
Step 6
Check the Enable check box.
Step 7
Click Save.
Subscribe Device to Android Phone Service
Follow this procedure to subscribe an Android phone service that you have added to a particular device.
Before You Begin
You must add an Android phone service in Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration before
you can subscribe a device to that phone service.
Procedure
Step 1
In Cisco Unified Communications Manager Administration, choose Device > Phone.
Step 2
In the Find and List Phone window that is displayed, find the device to subscribe to the Android phone service.
Step 3
Click the Device Name entry for the device that you choose.
Step 4
In the Phone Configuration window for the device, choose Subscribe/Unsubscribe Services from the Related
Links drop-down list box.
The Subscribed Cisco IP Phone Services for <device name> window opens.
Step 5
In the Subscribed Cisco IP Phone Services window for the device, use the Select a service drop-down list
box to choose the service that you created.
This action triggers subscription of the device to the service that you specify.
Step 6
Click Next.
Step 7
Click Subscribe.
Phone Button Templates Modification
Phone button templates let you assign speed-dial and call-handling features to programmable buttons.
Call-handling features that you can assign to buttons include All Calls, Do Not Disturb, Privacy, Speed
Dial, and Mobility.
