Distinctive Ring Patterns
Ring cadence defines the ringing pattern that announces a telephone call. The
Cisco WIP310 has only eight distinctive ring pattern fields.
The pattern is:
length(on/off)
where:
• Length: The total length of the ring
• On: The number of on seconds the ring is heard.
• Off: The number of seconds the ring is silent.
Example 1: Normal Ring
60(2/4)
where:
• Number of Cadence Sections = 1
• Cadence Section 1: Section Length = 60 s
• Number of Segments = 1
• Segment 1: On=2s, Off=4s
• Total Ring Length = 60s
