Access Panel (Tower and Rack)
To remove the access panel:
1. Perform the preparation procedures. See “Preparation Procedures” earlier in this chapter.
2. Open the front bezel door (tower model only). See “Front Bezel Door (Tower Model
Only)” earlier in this chapter.
3. Loosen the two T-15 thumbscrews
on the front of the chassis.
4. Remove the T-15 security screw
located on the front of the chassis, next to the
two thumbscrews.
5. Slide the access panel
toward the back of the server, then lift it away from the chassis.

Reverse steps 1 through 5 to replace the access panel.
