Install the M.2 direct riser module.
Removing the 2U top sled from the 2U node
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety Instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system
3. Remove the sled cover.
4. Remove the air shroud.
5. Remove the M.2 direct riser
6. Remove the side cover
7. Remove the Riser1 4x signal cables from connectors on the system board
8. Remove the sideband cables between the 1U and 2U PDBs
Steps
1. Using Phillips 1 screwdriver, remove the side screws and loosen the front captive screw that secure the 2U top sled from the
2U node.
2. Using both hands, slide forward and lift the 2U top sled from the 2U node.
