HYDRAULIC OIL LEVEL
(Fig. 16/D Pos. “1”)
The hydraulic oil tank is below the diver’s cab (g. 16/D Pos. “1”).
The level can be checked through the transparent cap on
the side of the tank (g. 16/D Pos. “2”).
The level is correct when the oil is visible through the cap
while every machine cylinder is in the transportation position.
To check the level correctly:
- Place the machine on level ground.
- Retract and lower the entire boom.
- Position the cylinders in transportation mode.
- Switch off the engine.
- Check the oil level through the transparent indicator
(g.16/D Pos. “2”).
If there is insufcient oil, remove the ller cap (g.17/D Pos.“1”)
and top up with oil of the type recommended by DIECI.
Add the amount necessary to ensure the correct oil level is
restored.
Routine maintenance must be carried out at the prescribed
intervals (pages D/9-10-11).
- CAUTION:
When topping up the oil level do not exceed the indicated
level and clean up any spillage immediately.
