Modifying Buttons Chapter 6: Working with Buttons
The steps below describe how to use the Modify Button menu to
change the button’s contents and appearance.
Add or Modify a Button
Label
Each button on a page may optionally display a label to help describe
the button’s contents or behavior.
To create or change the label that will be displayed on a button, follow
these steps:
1. Open the page with the button to be changed.
2. Select the green Modify button in the title bar. The button will turn
red when it is selected.
Symbol Use the Symbol button to place a selected
symbol on a button.
Behaviors Use the Behaviors button to add or change a
button’s behaviors.
Button Style Use the Button Style pull-down menu to
change the way a button is shaped.
Font Size Use the Font Size pull-down menu to change
the size of the font for the button label.
Border Width Use the Border Width pull-down menu to
change the width of a button’s borders.
Border Color Use the Border Color button to change the
color of a button’s border.
Button Color Use the Button Color button to change a
button’s color.
Button Text
Color
Use the Button Text Color button to change
the color of the label on a button.
Swap Use the Swap button to exchange the
locations of two buttons on a page.
Select IR
Command
Use the Select IR Command button to control
an appliance with your device.
Clear Use the Clear button to remove all of a
button’s current contents.
OK/Cancel Select the OK button to accept any changes
made in the Modify Button menu and then
close the menu. Select the Cancel button to
close the menu without saving any changes.
