Working with Pages
A communication page is a collection of buttons that represent words,
phrases, sentences, behaviors or links to other pages. Sometimes a
page also includes a Message Window, in which the words, phrases
or sentences from the buttons may be placed to create a more
complex phrase or sentence.
Because the primary purpose of pages is to communicate, most of
the buttons on a page will perform one of the following behaviors
when selected (although they may also perform other behaviors as
well):
• Play a recorded message immediately.
• Place a recorded message in the Message Window. When it is
selected, all messages in the Message Window are played back.
Usually all the buttons on a page are concerned with similar topics or
perform related activities.
In addition to creating or changing pages, several housekeeping
activities may be useful when modifying or organizing pages and the
folders in which pages are stored in the MightyMo/MiniMo:
• Copy a page or folder.
An existing page or folder may be copied and re-used to create
pages with consistent themes and navigational strategies.
• Move pages or folders from one location to another.
A page or folder may be cut from its current folder and pasted into
another folder.
• Delete a page or folder permanently.
A page or folder may be removed when it is no longer needed.
• Rename a page or folder.
The name of a page or folder may be changed.
