Battery Information and Care Chapter 2: Hardware
a replacement battery by contacting DynaVox Technical Support at 1-
800-344-1778.
Once you receive your new battery, follow these steps to install it:
1. Turn off the device and, if necessary, disconnect the charger.
2. Extend the device’s support leg and locate the battery door (the
curved section of plastic under the bottom of the leg). Two screws
are set deeply into the battery door (see Back View of Device
(MightyMo) on page 2-4).
3. Use a screwdriver to remove the two screws that holds the battery
door in place.
4. Remove the battery door.
5. Four colored wires from the battery pack are attached to one white
plastic connector that is plugged into the device. Carefully unplug
this connector.
6. Pull the battery pack free of the device case.
7. Slide the new battery pack into place.
8. Plug the white plastic connector from the new battery into the
device.
9. Replace the battery door and the screws holding it in place.
10. Charge the battery overnight (see Charge the Battery on
page 2-10).
11. Dispose of the old battery in accordance to your local
environmental laws.
Replace the MiniMo
Battery
If the battery in your MiniMo device becomes unable to maintain
power after being charged, it may need to be replaced. You can order
a replacement battery by contacting DynaVox Technical Support at 1-
800-344-1778.
Once you receive your new battery, follow these steps to install it:
1. Turn off the device and, if necessary, disconnect the charger.
2. Locate the rectangular battery door on the left side of the bottom
of the device. One screw is set deeply into the battery door.
3. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the battery door
in place.
