Backing Up, Restoring & Upgrading
Saving an extra copy of your MightyMo/MiniMo files in another
location (“backing up”) should be done regularly. You should backup
the user files for your device, as well as any custom images, song
files, recordings and sounds that you use with your device. This will
enable you to avoid losing customized pages and other files in case
there should ever be a problem with the memory in your device.
Once the user data files and your custom files are backed up, if there
is a problem with the MightyMo/MiniMo, the saved files can be
restored to make the device behave as it did before the problem
occurred. You can also restore files if you have altered them and
decide to return them to their previous configuration.
Also, from time to time, you may receive upgrade files from DynaVox
Technologies, which you will need to install to update your
MightyMo/MiniMo device.
This section provides step-by-step instructions for backing up and
restoring the user files and your custom files for your
MightyMo/MiniMo device, as well as step-by-step instructions for
upgrading the MightyMo/MiniMo software.
