Appendix A: External Hardware External Printer
to the printer, you must aim the front of your MightyMo/MiniMo device
in the direction of the infrared sensor on the printer.
Selecting a Printer Before you can send any information from your MightyMo/MiniMo
device to a printer, you must first select the kind of printer you want to
use. The Input/Output Settings menu in the Setup menu enables you
to choose the particular brand of printer you are using and define the
port on your MightyMo/MiniMo device to which it is connected.
To define the printer you want to use with your MightyMo/MiniMo
device, follow these steps:
1. Select the blue Setup button in the title bar. The Mo Setup menu
will open.
2. Select the Input/Output Settings button. The Input/Output
Settings menu will open.
3. Select the Printer button. The Printer Selection window will
appear.
4. In the Printer Selection viewport, select the option that most
closely matches the printer being used.
5. In the Select Port viewport, select the port to which the printer is
connected:
6. If you want to print in color, select the Print in Color check box.
7. Select OK to close the Printer Selection menu.
8. Select OK to close the Input/Output Settings menu.
9. Select OK to close the Mo Setup menu.
2 Note: All HP-compatible printers should use the “HP PCL Compatible”
driver.
IR Infrared Port Select this option if you are using an
infrared printer without a cable.
USB Port Select this option if the printer is connected
to the USB port.
