Import Sounds from a
Secondary Storage Card
If a sound file (.mp3 or .wav) is loaded onto a secondary storage
card, you can copy the sound file to your MightyMo/MiniMo device.
To import sound(s) from a secondary storage card, use the following
steps:
1. Insert the secondary storage card into your device (refer to the
instructions in Install a Secondary Storage Card on page 2-18).
2. Select the blue Setup button in the title bar. The Mo Setup menu
will open.
3. Select the Import Items button. The Import Items menu will open.
4. Select the Import Sounds button. The Select Sound Files menu
will open. The contents of the Sounds directory on the secondary
storage card will be displayed in the right viewport.
5. In the right viewport, select the check box next to each sound that
you want to import. You can import more than one sound at a time.
!
Caution: During this procedure, you may be asked if you want to overwrite
current sound files on your device with imported sound files that
share the same name. If you answer Yes, then the existing file
could be incorrectly replaced on any buttons that feature that
sound name. Answering No will import sound(s) that have unique
names, but will not import any sounds that share the same name
as sounds currently stored on your MightyMo/MiniMo device.
2 Note: The Sounds folder was automatically created on your secondary
storage card if the sound(s) were exported from a
MightyMo/MiniMo device. Refer to Export Sounds to a
Secondary Storage Card on page 8-29.
2 Note: If the sound is not stored in the Sounds folder, select the Show All
Directories check box, then select the Storage Card2 icon in the left
viewport and navigate to the folder where the sound is stored.
