Chapter 2: Hardware USB Storage Devices
You must properly format a new USB storage device before you can
use it with your MightyMo/MiniMo device.
To format a new USB storage device, follow these steps:
1. Insert the USB storage device into one of the USB ports on the
right side of your MightyMo/MiniMo device.
2. A window will appear on the touch screen, asking if you want to
format the UMS_FOLDER. Select the Yes button.
3. When the formatting is complete, select the OK button to close the
window.
Once the USB storage device is formatted, you may disconnect it
from your MightyMo/MiniMo device, or leave it connected to begin
sharing files.
2 Note: It is unnecessary to format the USB storage device that was
shipped with your MightyMo/MiniMo device.
2 Note: Formatting the USB storage device will erase any files currently
stored on it. It is recommended that you copy any files currently on
the USB storage device to a computer prior to completing these
steps.
