Example: Configuration of consecutive defrost
Defrost start
In the case of the CD Master controller, a defrost is triggered via the internal clock, the external contact or via
the manual defrost (CAN bus / local).
Configuration of the group members
The parameter "FA-Funktion"ontheCDMastercontrollermustbesetto"Master".Theparameter“FA-Wartez.”
specifies the wait time in minutes which the CD Master maintains between the defrosting of two groups. The
wait time applies equally to all groups.
Theparameters“FA-Gruppe" and "FA-Master" are ignored on the CD Master and should be set to "—".
The parameter "FA-Funktion"ontheCDSlavesmustbesetto“Slave”.
Theparameter“FA-Gruppe" on the slave must be set so that the controller is defrosted in the desired group
with other controllers and/or in the desired sequence relative to other controllers. For the sake of clarity, the
group numbers should be assigned with the CAN bus address in ascending order and without gaps, but this is
notmandatory.
The CAN bus address of the CD Master is set for every slave using the parameter "FA-Master". This specifies

no additional defrosts occur on the slave if additional defrosts outside the consecutive defrost are not desired.
