 IS PID lock error (error code: 000104)
 Cause
 The IS Motor is not running.
 Suspected cause
 Gears of the Inksystem Assy locked due to foreign object
 Gear phase shift

 Error name
 DCP1 driving time error (error code: 001012)
 Cause
 The Decompression Pump Motor (DCP1) is continuously running for
30 seconds or more.
 Suspected cause
 F/W runaway
 Decompression Pump Assy failure
 Troubleshooting
Step Check and measure Yes No

Visually check the gears of Inksystem Assy.
Is there no foreign object on the gears?
Replace the
Inksystem
Assy.
(If the
trouble is not
resolved,
contact the
EPSON
Service
Department.)
Remove the
foreign
object.
(Replace the
Inksystem
Assy if
removal is
not possible.)

Check whether or not the firmware is the latest
version using the Adjustment program.
