FRONT PANEL DESCRIPTION

VOX - Button for voice transmitting activation.

Short press the VOX button to enable the voice transmitting system.

Press and hold the VOX button to open VOX local settings panel (more details in VOX

operation ).

The VOX - transmitting mode is switched on automatically by speaking (Voice-Operated

Transmit).

SQL - Squelch button.

Press the SQL button to enable squelch.

Set the squelch threshold with the SQL knob on the transceiver's front panel (more details

in Squelch level adjusting ).

R.EQ - RX mode equalizer.

Short press the R.EQ button to enable the equalizer in RX mode.

Press and hold the R.EQ button to open the equalizer local settings panel for RX mode

(more details in Adjusting RX Equalizer ).

Note:

Tune the equalizer via the touch screen panel (by touching and moving the sliders), or use

the MULTI1 and MULTI2 knobs.

T.EQ - TX mode equalizer.

Short press the T.EQ button to enable the equalizer in TX mode.

Press and hold the T.EQ button to open the equalizer local settings panel for TX mode

(more details in Adjusting TX Equalizer ).
