Scheduling with an Opencast server
To use an Opencast server to import event schedules automatically on an ongoing basis:
1. Install and set up the Opencast server system.
2. Write down the Opencast server system security digest user name and password, and
the public URL of the Opencast server system in the form of the server IP address or
fully qualified domain name and port number.
TIP: The security digest credentials and public URL of the Opencast server
installation can be found in the config.properties file typically located in the
etc folder of the Opencast server installation directory.
3. From the SMP351 Schedule Settings page, select the Centralized
scheduling via Opencast server radio button or click the Opencast
Scheduling tab. The Active Schedule Source dialog box opens (see figure 44
on page 70).
4. Click OK to proceed.
5. Click the Opencast Scheduling tab.
