Wipers.
The wiper system consists of the following components:
 Front electric motor connected to the front wiper mechanism.
 Activation controls on the steering column stalk.
 RLS – Rain sensor (if Rain sensor=present in the BCM proxy).
 Two-way electric pump for the windscreen and rear window washer circuit.

Note: If the rain sensor is present, automatic
mode is selected by default during starting.
Wiper activation controls on the steering column stalk.
The windscreen (1st and 2nd speed) and rear window wipers can be activated via the controls on the
steering column stalk.
The control on the steering column stalk is electrically connected to the BCM. This receives MUX
signals (different levels of resistance according to the position of the lever) from the steering column
stalk.
