7-23. Calibration Adjustment Process
The Instrument can be adjusted in the software configuration. Select Support
Functions/Adjust Instrument. See Figure 7-5.

7-24. Entering Calibration Mode
To make calibration adjustments, the 6100B (or 6101B) calibration switch must be in the
Enable position. See Figure 3-9 and Table 3-2. Use the Password Prompt to enter your
password. See Figure 7-6.

The default password is “12321”. The password may be changed via the Change
Password softkey. See Chapter 6. Any alpha numeric character available via the 6100B
front panel can be used in passwords.
7-25. Select Instrument Configuration
To select instrument configuration, see Figure 7-7 and do the following:
1. Select the instrument (L1, L2 etc.) and channel to be adjusted via the Output Menu
2. Select the required range
3. Select the required Target
4. For voltage calibration, ensure 4-wire is selected.
Note
Line locking is disabled when calibration mode is entered. The previous
state is reinstated on exit from calibration mode.
