The Current Binding posts selections apply only when the 50 A option is fitted. Currents up
to 21A can be routed through the normal 4 mm binding posts or if preferred through the
same terminals that provide the 50A output (lower terminals). The individual phases can be
configured individually or all together.
This command will allow the current channel of a phase to be routed via the 50 A option.
• ON or 1 will apply the same routing to all phases.
• OFF or 0 will allow different routings for each phase.
The query command returns 1 if routings are common or 0 if routings are individual.
This command is used inconjunction with the PHASe<x>:CURRent:TERMinal command
[SOURce]:TERMinal:ROUTe(?) <cpd>{ UPPer | LOWer }
This command selects where the up-to-21A sigal is routed
• UPPer will select the normal 4 mm terminals
• LOWer will select the lower 50 A terminals
SOURce:PHASe<x>:FITTed?
This command is a query only and is used to return whether or not a phase is present.
The query version returns 1 if the phase is present and 0 otherwise.
SOURce:PHASe<x>:SERial?
This command is used to get the serial number of an instrument.
The query response is a <spd>, for example "12345"
SOURce:PHASe<x>:MODel?
This command is used to return the model number of the phase.
The query response is a <spd>, for example "6105A"
5-53. Power Values
SOURce:PHASe<x>:POWer:WATT?
This command is a query only and is used to return a Phase’s Power value in units of Watts
(this is always the same irrespective of the reactive power calculation method).
The instrument will return the specified Phase’s output power value. The returned number
will be in standard scientific format (24.3 kW would be returned as 2.43E4).
SOURce:PHASe<x>:POWer:VA?
This command is a query only and is used to return a Phase’s Power value in units of VA
(this is always the same irrespective of the power calculation).
The instrument will return the specified Phase’s output power value. The returned number
will be in standard scientific format (453.6 VA would be returned as 4.536E2).
SOURce:PHASe<x>:POWer:PFACtor?
This command is a query only and is used to return a Phase’s Power Factor value (this is
always the same irrespective of the power calculation).
SOURce:PHASe<x>:POWer:BUDeanu? [<cpd>{ P | S | Q | D }]
This command is a query only. The default (no parameter) version will return all of the
components from a calculation of the Phase’s Power according to Budeanu in comma
separated format, in the order P, S, Q, D. The parameters select a specific component to
return. The returned numbers will be in standard scientific format.
