4-46. 6100B Capability
Trigger in requirement TTL falling edge remaining low for 10 μs at the Trigger
input connector on the rear panel.
Either:
Trigger in delay
Or
Phase angle synchronization with respect to
channel fundamental frequency zero
crossing
0 to 60 seconds
±180 °
Dip/Swell Min duration 1 ms
Dip/Swell Max duration 1 minute
Dip Min amplitude 0 % of the nominal output
Swell Max amplitude The least of full range value and 140 % of the nominal
output
Ramp up/down period Settable 100 µs to 30 seconds
Optional end delay 0 to 60 seconds ± 31 µs
Trigger out delay 0 to 60 seconds from start of dip/swell event
Trigger out TTL falling edge co-incident with end of trigger out delay,
remaining low for 10 µs to 31 µs
Dip/Swell Repetitions 0 to 1000
4-47. Setting Up Dips/Swells
The top level Dip/Swell softkeys are shown in Figure 4-25. The Waveshape softkey
opens the lower level softkeys for the various parameters that control the shape of the
Dip/Swell. Under Trigger various Dip/Swell trigger options can be set. Dip/Swell
Repetitions determines how many Dip/Swell events will occur when a trigger occurs in
External Trigger (One Shot) mode. Copy and Paste allow transfer of the current
settings to another 6100B phase. Use the Enable/Disable Waveshape softkey to turn
Dip/Swell on or off.
