10.1.5 Concluding steps
Perform the following procedures to complete the task:
Ê Dispose of the CMOS battery in accordance with local regulations
concerning special waste.
Ê Close the server blade as described in section "Closing the server blade" on
page 56.
Ê Reinstall and secure the server blade in the system unit as described in
section "Installing the server blade in the system unit" on page 57.
When the server blade is installed after the exchange of the CMOS battery,
the operating system starts regardless of the "Automatic inventory collection
(Automatic Inventory Retrieval)".
Therefore, after installed the server blade, the BIOS setup utility menu is
displayed once, and the power supply is cut.
After the above-mentioned operation, the server blade returns to usual
operation.
It is not a breakdown though the power supply of the server blade
intermittently repeats turning on/cutting when "Automatic inventory
collection (Automatic Inventory Retrieval)" of the management blade is set
to "Automatic" (default value) after the installation of the server blade.
Ê Verify and update time settings as described in section "Verifying the system
time settings" on page 86.
Ê If applicable, close the rack door as described in section "Closing the rack
door" on page 62.
