4.8 Switching on the server blade
V CAUTION!
● Before switching on the server blade, make sure the cover is closed.
In order to comply with applicable EMC regulations (regulations on
electromagnetic compatibility) and satisfy cooling requirements, the
PRIMERGY BX924 S4 server blade must not run while the cover is
removed.
● Follow the safety instructions in chapter "Important information" on
page 29.

Ê Press the On / Off button (1) to start up the server blade.
Ê Ensure that the power-on indicator (2) in the On / Off button is lit green.
